There's A Sad Part.....
I love this Dalai Lama quote. I'm 110% in agreement with the ol chap!
I have the evidence to back it up too!
I have worked with many women on their personal & professional UpGrades, women with a dream, a passion, a goal, talent, ability or simply the desire to live a deeply fulfilled life.
When a woman places herself at the very top of her game (whatever that may be) she elevates her capacity to positively effect herself and those in need exponentially.
Her possibilities are endless..... Literally!
Her life can transform in a matter of weeks!
Her relationships become juicy, her bank balance healthy, her wellness superb, her work life balance great, her business or career successful and her life steeped in happiness & the freedom to create anything she chooses.
There's a sad part though...... :-(
I also speak to and know many women who will never UpGrade to the life they desire or deserve. That's not because they can't, it's because they won't!
You see, rising UP in life is a choice.
It's a simple, straight forward decision.
Simple yet so complicated!
What's complicated about living the life you dream of? Surely it's exciting and compelling like watching yourself as the leading lady in your favourite happy ending movie?
What if I fail? I don't deserve it. I don't have time. I can't risk it. I won't be there for my children. I'll start next year. I'll try and do it myself. There are women worse off than me. My life's ok as it is, why rock the boat?
The sad part is, so many women never make it past the fear or the what if's, succumbing to them like anything remotely chocolatey at their time of the month! (Sorry gents!!)
So many women never make it past the debilitating voices in their head telling them it's just no use. It's way too big and unattainable.
YOU MAY AS WELL FORGET IT AND STAY WHERE YOU ARE!
Well I say stick 2 fingers up to the voices; they're old, tired and outdated.
Women of today can be too savvy (If they want to be ;-) to allow a pack of lies to shape their future.
Frustratingly women of today also succumb to those fears, excuses and voices too though.
Answer this question for yourself; it'll only take a sec!
ARE YOU a) SAVVY or b) SUCCUMBING?
Hit reply and share the answer with me.... I'd love to know !
Wishing you a very Happy Women's Day!
